Mip-NeRF 360 — Kitchen (Facility / Industrial Twin)
DSLR → COLMAP → 3DGS → SOG • 19.2 MB SOG (1.68M Gaussians)
Replaces low-res bonsai mini (you flagged as bad). Real indoor facility capture from Mip-NeRF 360 — detailed kitchen with cabinets, appliances and fixtures. Source kitchen-7k.splat (53 MB) from dylanebert/3dgs converted to SOG via splat-transform --gpu cpu. Better proxy for interior as-built / industrial digital twin than bonsai plant.

Factory Setup — Digital Twin Integration
How this splat becomes a factory-floor twin. Replace the demo kitchen SOG with your plant capture.
What you see vs Factory floor
Factory assets (click → viewer annotation)
Demo annotations — wired to viewer via public/viewer/settings.json → annotations + voxel collision for walk mode.
Swap to your factory in 30s
- Capture plant (your FARO/NavVis/drone).
- Convert:
npx splat-transform --gpu cpu factory.splat factory.sog - Copy to
public/works/factory.sog - Edit
lib/works.ts:36→contentUrl: "/works/factory.sog" - Rebuild:
npm run build
Integrations we can add
- Walk mode + voxel collision (`.voxel.json`) for factory walkthrough
- Asset tags from CMMS / SAP PM / Maximo → live status in viewer
- Measurement, section, and BIM overlay (IFC/CAD → mesh in viewer)
- Time-slider for before/after shutdown, HTL training
Current demo uses real Mip-NeRF 360 kitchen (19.2 MB SOG) as stand-in for a factory bay — swap the file, keep everything else.
